There are a plethora or training vests out there. When we started designing our range we spoke with end users and trainers about what they wanted in a vest. There were a few requests so we went away to see what we could offer.

Our vests needed to be practical and as we always strive for value for money. This is where the project started, 12 months ago we developed our very first vest which we now class as the Heritage vest, it was a fairly basic vest with front pockets and our ubiquitous chest pocket. The chest pocket, we believe, is a great addition as it allows you just to stick your whistle in there when you are walking about which leaves your whistle flying about on the end of your lanyard.

The Highlander vest came next, with studded front pockets, bigger game pocket, chest pocket and hand warmer pockets, which started off behind the main pockets then after consultation with users we relocated them to a chest position. We feel this is a more relaxed position to rest your hands.

The next vest to arrive was the Lowlander, on request of a top trainer. The inclusion of internal zipped waterproof pockets both left and right, great for phones, car keys. The natural lead on from this was to offer a dual zip system so you could zip from the top or to access the internal pockets, zip from the bottom. The game pocket on this one now has drainage eyelets. This vest is made from canvas and mesh, currently in a cream and green combination but we can offer various colours.

Finally to complete the range a new Lighweight vest was conceived. For the hotter training days in the Summer perhaps, this vest has more mesh, to aid with ventilation and drying. We have also stripped this vest back so two studded front pockets, large mesh game pocket at the rear and again our chest pocket on the left hand side.

All our vests are registered with the Intelectual Property Office to protect our designs.
